Summer Days

I dug through the suitcase of clothes that Aunt April sent up and we found some fun summer dresses for Lindy! I realized that her long-sleeved clothes are NOT going to work anymore.

There were even matching socks!

Thanks Aunt April for saving all your girl clothes and giving them to us!

Saturdays

I cherish every Saturday with my baby. She didn’t want to take a nap today -I say it is because she wants to be around mom.

We might HUGE progress in the basement this weeknd. I came home from work last night and went to bed. Dale stayed up until 1:00 and organized all his tools. This morning, we went through EVERY box we have and either, trashed it, put it in the garage sale box, or re-packed it into a smaller box. How liberating. I even got to clean my basement bathroom.

Happy Mom’s Day

Lindy was a bundle of joy for us this weekend with her 101 degree temperature. I’m sure her crying was saying “happy mom’s day” The doctors said she broke out in hives due to a viral infection. The hives went away Saturday morning but a fever settled in for two days.

She would eat, cry until we rocked her to sleep and then wake up to eat within the next 2 hours and the cycle would start over again (I’m so glad we have her on a schedule otherwise).

Poor thing. I don’t know if she had the chills or a headache or what but she was NOT feeling well. Finally tonight her fever broke. Enough time to give me a smile and then back to sleep.

uh-oh

She started out with just a few spots yesterday and this morning I snapped this picture. The spots have spread!

Daddy will be taking her to the doctor this morning. Thursday she was a little sniffly and had a cough yesterday -I don’t know how those would be related to this rash.

Hopefully it is not chicken pox because she will have exposed the whole middle school youth group, the urban christian middle school class, and all the people she met at AE.

She Rolled Over!

Yep, our baby girl is rolling over! Dale and I were JUST talking about her development and 4 months being able to do certain things. (Not that we care THAT much) Of course, Dale saw it as a challenge that Lindy had yet to roll over so they were going to practice.

She was home with daddy yesterday morning working on some tummy time and she just flopped right over -head first. You can check out the video on the video page.
